I believe we will win but it aint going to be a party it’s going to be a war and mark my words if we kick away our ball like we did against NZ better close ur eyes!

I’m just hoping we don’t kick as much this weekend, their back three are way to dangerous and way too good under the highball with Giteau and Barnes and Mortlock pairing up in the middle kicking possesion away and hoping for mistakes for me won’t be at the best interest, and then brussow will have a tough time against waugh and smith…oh this is going to be a belter…..

IPL: Day 2

wcpt

With the skies opening up on the second day saw the 3rd game against Punjub  and Delphi being delayd.

The match was shortened to an 12 over game.  Punjub ended on 104/7 for their 12 overs. Daredevils came in and knew they had to get going before the skies open again. The captain Sehwag smashed the ball all over the park when rain came down heavier than there had been all day.

When they came back onto the field they needed to get 54 from 6 overs from a revised D/L system.

Points for me in Superbru :D and cricket.com’s Fantasy League.

Due to the heavy rain, the first game was postponed forcing the second game to be postponed also.
It was taking back about 30min, but then one of the palleton’s (floodlights) broke. Putting a section of the field in darkness with an already grey sky. Thus making the game start 1 hour late.

The crowd was not going home and the players were ready for the action.!
Rainy conditions made the first game very uninteresting.  The second one was far from that!  Gibbs and Sharma resulted in a Deccans victory over the Knight Riders.

Trip: East London to Cape Town

Saturday 22 September 2008 bags were packed and the trip to Cape Town has started…

Bit of history and pics will be added here==>

East London
A city on the southeast coast of South Africa, situated in the Eastern Cape Province at 32.97°S and 27.87°E.[1]. The city is situated on the Indian Ocean coast, between the Buffalo River, and the Nahoon River, and is the country’s only river port.

nextstop was at Beavers in
Port Alfred
The scenic coastal town of Port Alfred lies midway between Port Elizabeth and East London on the Kowie River. It is a bustling commercial and residential town in magnificently picturesque surroundings. The climate is wonderful, especially from November to June, with calm days and crisp nights, sunny summers and mild winters.

The atmosphere is tranquil yet abuzz with outdoor activities including river and ocean watersports, horserides and trails in neighboring game reserves and aviatic activities at the local Air School. in the lagoon, along golden beaches or in the Royal Alfred Marina and the Marina’s small boat harbour.
